   Beside the Elac PBV 140 This is the rarest German stereo integrated amp I know. I have only seen this sample in 20 years.

  Equipped with two ECL86 tubes, this amp delivers 2 watts RMS into 4 Ohm speakers (maximum distorted power = 2.5 watts) and 20% less into 8 Ohms loads.

  With this design you will not get a real RIAA or CCIR phono stage, but the output transformers are nice, so it is a good line amp (for CD or AUX) just as it is.

 
             
             
         
             
                   
         
                   
         
                   
     

  Due to the permanent loudness function the frequency response depends on the volume pot position:

Upper left: Volume turned to left position

Upper right: Volume turned up

Lower left: Volume turned to max. position

Lower right: Any position with green and yellow cables removed from the volume pot - a very easy way to linearize the frequency response.
