Both, the V317 and the V318, only work with 100V speaker systems. No
chance to change.
The
amps carry very nice input transformers and nice Telefunken tubes -
when found in original condition...

I think the best product from this man is still its Platine Verdier,
though this amp was not bad at all (and looks better than the
actual).

Compared with German Siemens units significant differences appear on the design and units from the
Austrian Siemens section. Beside the fact that they used
different chassis (the amp shown left is something like a 6SELA2524
and the amp below was used as the KL-V408 or KL-V502) and parts
(made in Austria by WSW) the amplifier designs were very different.
Many of these used ultralinear circuits and in several units the reserve
amp was built into the main amp (as with a SE EL84 stage). I really
prefer the German units...
