This amp replaced the Klangfilm KL-V502 EL34 amp in the the Eurodyn racks. Output power is 25 Watts into 15 Ohms. The output is transformer coupled with a very good output transformer. Beside the sonical qualities of this design, it is very stable and protected against shorts. There are very few transformer coupled solid state amps for HiFi and these are highly regarded. The output stage works in a classic 2N3055 design and the regulated power supply uses another transistor of this type for regulation. As used as direct replacement for the KLV-502, this amp also offers tone controls and a high quality input transformer. |

Nice drive-in cinema speakers from the 50s or 60s. I have a drive-in cinema in Austria where they still seem to be in use !!! |
